Disney+ Sets Final Season of ‘Bad Batch’ for Feb. 21, Releases Trailer Media Play News

The third and final season of the animated series “Star Wars: The Bad Batch” will debut on the Disney+ streaming service starting Feb. 21.

Disney+ Jan. 22 also released a trailer and schedule for the 15-episode season. The premiere date will present three episodes, with a new episodes each subsequent week ( two episodes March 13 and April 3), leading to the May 1 series finale.

The show, a sequel to “The Clone Wars,” follows a squad of former Clone Troopers who have become mercenaries following the rise of the Empire. In the final season, the Batch will have their limits tested in the fight to reunite with Omega as she faces challenges of her own inside a remote Imperial science lab. With the group fractured and facing threats from all directions, they will have to seek out unexpected allies, embark on dangerous missions, and muster everything they have learned to free themselves from the Empire.

The voice cast includes Dee Bradley Baker, Michelle Ang, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Jimmi Simpson, Noshir Dalal and Wanda Sykes. “Star Wars: The Bad Batch” is executive produced by Dave Filoni, Athena Portillo, Brad Rau, Jennifer Corbett and Carrie Beck, with Josh Rimes as co-executive producer and Alex Spotswood as senior producer. Rau is also serving as supervising director with Corbett as head writer.
