‘Trolls Band Together’ Remains No. 1 on Disc Sales Chart Media Play News

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment’s Trolls Band Together remained No. 1 on the Circana VideoScan First Alert chart, which tracks combined DVD and Blu-ray Disc unit sales, and the dedicated Blu-ray Disc chart the week ended Jan. 27.

No. 2 on both charts was again Universal Pictures’ Oppenheimer, in its 10th week on shelves. However, it remained No. 1 on the dedicated 4K chart for a 10th consecutive week.

Trolls Band Together was No. 7 on the 4K chart.

The week’s top newcomer, at No. 3 on all three charts, was Warner’s Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths — Part One, the new animated movie based on the DC Comics superheroes. The movie was released on disc only in Blu-ray formats, with the 4K Ultra HD version accounting for 23% of its total unit sales.

Disney-owned Lucasfilm’s Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny reamained No. 4 on the overall sales chart but rose to No. 5 on the Blu-ray chart. It was No. 14 on the 4K chart.

Universal’s Five Nights at Freddy’s slid two spots to No. 5 on the overall chart in its seventh week, and dropped to No. 4 on the Blu-ray chart.
